Daniel and I went on our first date! I have been missing spending some one-on-one time with Daniel lately. I had heard several times of dads taking their daughters out on a date and I thought that it would be neat if Daniel and I went on a date. It was kind of last minute that night, so we just had a little time, but it was fun anyways! We went to dinner at McDonald's and Daniel had his first Happy Meal! Then we went grocery shopping, (he loves grocery shopping!) and he got to ride in one of those "special car carts" which are impossible for me to push. I almost always run into something with those carts because I can't see the end, so I rarely give in and push those things. But since we were on a date, I knew he would have fun. When we got home there was a pretty sunset so we took a little walk. A great end to a great date! Daniel is such a sweet little boy and I feel so blessed to be his mommy! I love spending one-on-one time with him but I rarely get to. Sure there are days where things get overwhelming, but I try to remember how fast he is growing and these precious days are flying by. Even as I am typing this he is asking me tons of questions! :-)
